Tip #1 Rather than focusing on individual cells, remember that your enemies come in groups that regenerate unless completely destroyed. Don't split your efforts between clusters, or take on a cluster you don't have enough ammo or energy to finish off entirely. Tip #2 You'll automatically lead your shots against targeted enemies, but not when Roxxi is locked onto them. Target lock can be helpful for stationary targets, such as stool jags, but is not useful for moving ones unless you're using the radiation gun (which connects with the target instantly). Tip #3 Don't just rush headlong into the fray. Observe your enemies' position and plan your attack when possible. Try not to get groups of them to your sides, or even worse, behind you. Keep them to the front, that's where your blaster is. Tip #4 Although most treatments cannot harm nanobots, concentrated doses of a treatment (such as those from rockets and explosive charges) can cause damage. Be sure to use these devices only from a safe distance. Tip #5 When using rockets, aim and fire from a distance greater than the weapon's lock-on range and aim for the center of a cluster to get as many enemies as possible in your blast radius. Then finish off those remaining with your blaster. Tip #6 Luring enemies into chasing you and then retreating can be handy for getting them to line up nicely in front of your blaster, or getting them to group together for a well-placed rocket. Tip #7 Lighter-colored bacteria will quickly attack and latch on to you, while the darker ones simply hang around and fire projectiles. Prioritize your targets and destroy the lighter-colored ones first. Tip #8 Some powerups will re-appear after a short amount of time. When low on ammo or energy, try going back to the location of powerups you've already collected. Tip #9 The defensive spin maneuver is not only useful for throwing off attached enemies and objects but can also be effective in knocking enemies back if timed precisely. Tip #10 Acute Lymphoblastic Lymphoma (ALL) cells tend to divide more aggressively when attacked at close proximity. It's best to destroy them from a distance if possible. Tip #11 The key to lowering a fever is to destroy as many bacteria as possible. If you find the fever meter climbing too high, take out some bacteria to keep it down. |
